Partial Solar Eclipse

This montage shows some of the curious shadows that result from a light source that has distinct shape.

(a) Small holes between the leaves in a tree act as pin-hole cameras and show the sun as a crescent shape. The moon is covering roughly 3/4ths of the sun's face.
